I sketched this plein air on a beautiful morning at the Willow Preserve Overlook in Frisco, CO. I painted it in watercolor a couple weeks later.
I used a sketchbook with paper that had a darker overall tone and more distinct texture in the paper, which are reflected in the printed copies.
